Gavilán Río Sarapiquí is also an excellent point to get to many other interesting places in the North Atlantic Region: Arenal Volcano, the Hot Springs in Fortuna, Poas Volcano, Aerial Tram, Braulio Carrillo National Park, San Juan River in Nicaraguan Border, and Tortuguero.

How to get to the Caribbean Beaches

BY BOAT : You can arrive to San  Juan River in only  one hour. You can get to Barra de Colorado, in just 2 hours and a half by boat, by Sarapiquí River and San Juan River. And it will be very easy for you because the boat can pick you up at our lodge: we are in the riverside .You can arrive by this same  route also to Tortuguero, in about 4 hours, enjoying many amazing views.

BY ROAD: We are located only  25 Km away from  the Limon Road.You can access Limón, driving for 2 hours and a half from our lodge, and get to Cauhita driving for only 3 hours. After that you will find other beautiful places like Puerto Viejo de Limón, and many amazing beaches across this town and Manzanillo.
